Saying "yes" in good times and bad times...

The “yes” of God - the “yes” of man

The first group evokes creation. God is love and wants to share this love with everyone. It was for this purpose that he created man: to invite him, of his own free will, to say "yes" to this love.

We can say "yes" or "no" to this invitation. However, Abraham, Moses, Mary and Jesus Himself show us the extent to which saying "yes" to life, even in the most difficult circumstances, and especially saying "yes" to God, in spite of all the difficulties, has always brought them profound, unexpected happiness.

The “yes” of long ago...

All who receive the Joyful Message are compelled to answer "yes" and to announce this Joyful Message to everyone else. This is shown by the following groups: first of all those who preached the Gospel in our regions, Rumbold and Gummarus, the birth of the veneration of Mary in the 10th century, Margaret of York's concern for the poor in the time of the Dukes of Burgundy, and Margaret of Austria who set aside her own projects to take care of her nieces and nephew and assume the regency of the Southern Netherlands...
